on a side note. can we get everyone to try to make the pro4 cars look super professional? can everyone do some nice graphics/paint jobs and real numbers? looking at the wilmot website you can't tell the difference between the pro4 champ and f4! (not hating on your car erik!) just sayin we should make these things look awesome if we want to get people interested.
if every car looked as good or better than the MASSIVE SPEED zx2 i think we would be set! any thoughts? I'm sure karl would be more than happy to help people out with graphics and numbers. scott redden has a machine as well. post up some pics of that zx2 karl!

What does within stock body work mean?  if im reading what you are saying right that would mean, we couldn't run any sort of backspacing on our racing rims because even a 4 inch backspacing is going to stick out an inch.

Yes.

Some cars will have problems, some can fit.

WHEELS-

Made for racing, 7-inch wide steel wheels only. 4-inch backspacing required on all wheels. Wheels with 3 5/8 backspacing

allowed with 50lbs weight penalty.

13”, 14” or 15” diameter wheels allowed. Wheels must be the same size per axel. One-inch lug nuts
required. Spacer plates allowed ¼” maximum width. No bleeders

We should be allowed to run that rule package for racing wheels. those are copyied and pasted right out of the International rules from Jefferson speedway.

If/when international cars come down, they'll be bringing different wheels than they normally run anyways (pavement vs dirt).  So I'm sure if bassets dont fit within the stock body work, they'll get some OEM rims from the J yard.

pro cars are allowed racing mirrors. i don't see the problem. its a fucking mirror who cares. some cars will be able to run 6 inch back space. some can only run two. as long as they aren't sticking out you can run it. doesn't matter if its 5 inch wide or 9. every car should be able to fit decent rubber sizes in there with the current rules.

its funny steve because i got dqed for a "fucking" mirror along with a 3 dollar pair of spring rubbers.. lol just playing...

most "stock" cars have a backspacing of 5 inches from the factory... the only reason, i am asking for unlimited back spacing is if we put 2" back spacing we are getting 3 extra inches of width/grip out of our car.
but anything less then 5 inches is going to stick out of the fender. even the bandits are allowed to run between 3.875 and 4 inch backspacing on there cars at most asphalt tracks.

and on top of that they are stronger then a stock rim!!

you were never dq'ed for a mirror. f4 cars were supposed to run stock mirrors which you weren't. thats why you were asked to remove it. for some reason you took it as you were dq'ed for that. you were dq'ed for the spring rubbers. i also could have dq'ed you for running zx2 suspension all year but i left that be. glad you decided to move up to pro.
pro class will allow you to play with wheel size and back spacing. its part of the fun with the pro class. you will learn how that will effect scrub radius (for good or bad) among other things along the way. as long as your wheels fit inside the stock fenders then have at it. back spacing is not measured in inches on stock cars. its in mm. (offset) most fwd cars run 40-50mm.
bandit cars will need to be the same side to side. or as close as possible.

i was told by Todd directly that you were dqing me for the mirror and spring rubber .

And id like to know how you knew i was running a zx2 suspension because it is impossible to tell the difference unless u measure the shaft size.. because that is the ONLY difference..

the part numbers are different. don't worry about me.

i was there with todd when he was on the phone with you when you called crying about it. he said it was NOT about the mirror, only the spring rubber.

why are you still bringing that stuff up? chalk it up as a racing thing. you were cheating in more than one way. you got caught. big deal. your grandfather sent me home 3 times when i raced at lgr. i don't complain about it to you constantly. it was just a "racing deal" hell one of the times he black flagged me and matt booker on lap 2 of the feature for "passing 4 cars before the green flag" homan who started in front of me said he thought the black flag was for him because they were flagging me (behind him) on lap two. its just part of racing. shit happens. some of it you can control. some you can't.

its been a while since I've thought about escort suspension but aren't the coil counts different too? and one is a linear rate and the other is progressive?  lol. do you think there isn't any information about cars around? do you think junkyards don't have escorts? don't be stupid.

EDIT:

my escort has had the same front spring in it since i bought it ur right i switched struts but they are the same springs.. so you are wrong on that..  and even if i had "stock" replacement 1992 Ford escort gt struts in it from monroe they would not have the same number on them as the factory..  And as a matter of a fact id like you to find a junkyard with a escort gt sitting in it..  99% of them are LX's
