Preliminary 2012 Wilmot B4NDIT Rulebook
This reflects what I believe to be an accurate representation of the discussed revisions to the existing 2011 Fearless 4 rules.
Any input as to omission is appreciated.
Any further suggestions/alterations from those present or not is also encouraged.

Sorry they are kinda disjointed in terms of margin/spacing. I had to crib from the wilmot page's pdf and the formatting always gets funky...
typo in the first line!
tire size is per axle not all four corners.
I thought we could move the battery to inside the car?? Is a 3gal fuel cell ok?? So are we going with no added weight(100lb) on the passenger side or was that just for the Pro4?
tires are per axle.
roll over valve on stock tank?
not nit picking just reading
side skirt say 6'' but its a 4'' ground clearance rule except exhaust?
aluminium wheels? as long as 1'' lug can be securely fastened (was stated at meeting)
radiator protector - subject to tech approval/ discretion excessive tubing or protection will be forced to be cut to compete. lotta guys run round roll bar tubing. make this a little more broad but make sure people know if its excessive it aint racing.
battery can be relocated inside as long as its in a sealed box and is safely mounted
we do need to add the 100lb weight penalty for variable cam/valve timing since that is missing. CARS WITH DOHC AND VARIABLE CAM/VALVE TIMING WILL HAVE A 100LB WIEGHT PENALTY. THE WEIGHT NEEDS TO BE ON THE PASSENGER FLOOR BOARD AS FAR FORWARD AND TO THE RIGHT AS POSSIBLE. bandit cars only.
as far as the fuel cell goes ill leave that up to todd. 3 gallon isn't much though.
? ground clearance was supposed to be 6. is it 4 or 6?
aluminium wheels?
radiator protector?
can the weight be in the door if securely mounted?
ground clearance is 4 for the chassis and 6 for the front air dam and side skirts.
we have already said yes for aluminum wheels. remember 1 inch lug nuts need to fit.
radiator protector rules are there. some exceptions will be allowed for people coming from other tracks. if you race weekly at wilmot you will need to comply to the rules no exceptions.
weight must be in the place described in the rules.
hb side skirt should they be 4 as well since there on the chassis. rules state 6''
then add it to rules please it says no aftermarket wheels except steel race. if someone puts on the nismo aluminiums on a sentra they wanna be able to run it without a dq.
thats gray area... but should be made specific. thank you
floor board as far up as possible okkkkk
you can run factory aluminums if the 1in lugs fit. i doubt you are going to find many aftermarket wheels that fit with 1in lug nuts anyways, even most oem ones won't work.
if you have an air dam thats 4 in off the ground its just going to get ripped off, bent up and smashed. remember there are ruts that are more than 6in as it is. this is dirt not asphalt. i think that rule is just fine.
add it to the rules. thanks
peerfect example that race wheels wont fit the body work of these cars. thats with a re hung body that was and inch wide on each side. BASSETT WHEELS WILL NOT FIT IN STOCK BODY WORK!!!
they sell wheels with many different offsets. certain cars can fit lower offsets too.
repost that picture
not in 4x100 in which 90% of cars are. i have yet to see problems come from hitting wheels.
there are 4 choices
13x7 4x4 1/4 4x4 1/2
and 14 with 4x4 1/4 and 1/2
these arent street stock where i can get anything from a 2'' to a 5'' backspace. i have speedway motors lefthander books here there are not other backspaces than these.

you can call and get them made in just about whatever offset you want.

Max BS on a 4 lug (or 5 for that matter) from any race wheel mfg is 5" on a 15 x 8. I searched high and low when i bought mine for the ZX2 and the wagon and they still stick way the fuck out.
That said, I guess I will have to look for a different option.
