This is a straight copy and paste from thier website. I know some of you do NOT like the track, but I thought I would let some of you know incase you didn't. 400 to win and 60 to start. $30 pit pass. ( If this is your first time to the speedway to race, there is a registration fee!!!!! ) Last I knew, race receivers are manidtory.
"The fence has been repaired and the track is ready. PACE Promotions
announces the return of the 410 cubic inch, 900 horsepower, winged and
open wheeled sprint cars of the Monster Drink Midwest Open Wheel
Association (MOWA) and the Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing

will be the 2nd running of the Bill Waite, Jr. Memorial
Sprint Car Race. Last year, Joey Moughan of the MOWA group, earned the
title “ShowStopper” when he took down the fence in turns 3 & 4
resulting in a cancellation of the race.
The race is being presented by Interstate Batteries of Central
Illinois with associate sponsors of Central Illinois Trucks, Inc., a
truck sales and service group in Peru and seven other locations, and
Jackson Kahl (formerly the Phoenix Group), an insurance provider, with
offices in Illinois, including Peru, and Iowa and Wisconsin.
Both sprint groups will be coming off a two-week rest during the
running of events in Iowa leading up to the Knoxville Nationals. The
sprinters will be racing for $3000 to win and $300 to start. Supporting
the show will be two UMP classes: UMP Modifieds racing for $1000 to win
and $150 to start; and UMP Hornets (4 cylinders) chasing $400 to win
and $60 to start.
