Rockford makes me want to shower after having driven through it.  Gross.

like i said. east side is decent. (i90 area) anything down town/west is garbage. also has higher unemployment than detroit if you didnt read the whole article. 

What has/is coming out of Rockford?  Any notable factories/plants/companies?  Belvidere Chrysler plant doesnt really count.  Or DOES it?

there are some aerospace and gear making business' but not much. they shipped all the manufacturing out of rockford international airport to china. great idea.
