i dont have that kind of money to "rent" a spec miata. i might do a couple HPDE's thats about it. not sure when or where yet. i still need to finish a few things on my car first. which might include an engine rebuild. shes getting a bit tired. 

ic. would you wanna do lemons in joliet i have one buddy shane. owns that shop in grays lake that said he is down. we could do it with 3 drivers but 4 will cut costs. its 500 to enter the car. then 100 per driver. plus the b.s. fuel, tires... 

with the spec miaita u also get to drive with a instructor and get ur scca license with it. idk was jsut an idea. 

i hear autobahn c.c. is a badass track, they do ur hpde's to my friends uncle went there with his gti. said it was awesome. 

whats the deal with blackhawk farms? if i have a road race car strictly off-road can i bring it there or what there web site doesnt help one bit

spec miata rentals are cheaper than i thought. ~900 not to bad.

autobahn is a very nice track. i do want to get out there sometime. just have to find an event.

the best way to get on any of these tracks is to find car clubs or groups that run HPDE's or lapping days. most of them require you to have working lights and stuff so an old circle track car might not be the best choice. i ran with audi club and LAPS inc. they asked me if parts were going to be falling off my civic. (most of these people had 50k+ cars and some were 150K+) check out the west michigan honda meet. they run at a small track (gingerman) there are TONS of people who attend. not sure on price or how much track time. but a group like that is prob more your cup of tea.

ic ya ima look into it. n ya i know maybe we should look into the spec miata thing cuz that be hellu fun. you usually get an instructor to help you out as well like legit pro drivers. so shit i payed alot more for dirt track school. 900 is cheap

Blackhawk farms in Rockton/South Beloit?  Hell you were right around the corner from my house. Super nice track, the peoplethat put it on are even nicer. Is there a lemons race there? I wouldnt think the Corvette, Porsche and other over priced car clubs would liek that. Im suretheyd bitch and say the track would get dirty
