well some of us like to call the rule book a menu while others like to abide by every rule and be "legit" but for those of us that prefer to win over packing up a trailer with no hardware. there is the cheater section. leave helpful hints, tips, and tricks for others. but please be respectful to others input

im just throwing this out there. EVERYTHING IS AT THE TECH INSPECTORS DISCRETION. ANY RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. ANYTHING IS SUBJECT TO APPROVAL. that is a basic thing that any tracks use. i am the gray area eliminator wink last year it was to big of a problem with everyone complaining. this year we are trying to make everything 100% FAIR.

honda harmonic balancer who needs it? john deere parts work great. i also beleive there are performance shops that will make these for you as well. little more "stock" appearing

shave you front right brake pad down so your left grabs first.

tires mhmm my favorite. soak them  all four in a 55 gallon drum of wd-40 then let them bask in the sun for hours but dont let them get rained on. softened 'em up. more for asphalt works well on a sticky track after sprints run though.

after market sway bars. sand 'er down an paint er black. rust oleum works best less likely to rust

hmm hb. rear tires. left rear run the smallest baldest tire you can find in teh junk pile. most likely if you take this one they may give you 1 good one for a great discount ;) great for a bargain racer

hmmmmm another great way to run in the gray area. so you have a trans that just aint right gear wise. keep the same trans core but put the correct gears in the trans, for hondas. but i cant tell you what gears to run sorry.

weight jacking. well the rules say you cant run weight specific jacks on your car. well you call up your local speed shop and order lead weights. they sell them in diffrent shapes as well. throw your car on the scale and start placing them in inconspicous spots. under a seat, by your feet. (just move your pedals backa few inches move your seat move wait... you get the point.

spring too soft or too hard? you cut it too much and dont wanna buy a new 1? well head over to your local home repair store. and buy wire rope clamps.
i imagine local speed shops will carry these soon. as a box of ten is like 5 bucks. and there very useful

well thats it for today. and rememember it aint cheatin' its competin.

im not a hater. im just letting you know that wilmot isnt taking any of this BS this year. you think all of my cars were 100% legal? lol. half of what you posted is retarded. shaving a brake pad down? lmao. does that mean when your brakes are worn out your pedal travels farther? nope. the hydraulic system compensates for that....

99% of circle track talk is about wilmot on this forum. get over myself? stop talking nonsense and i wont have to say anything. anyone who doesnt know the difference between quit and quite probably  isnt going to get away with much around me. i never had to look at your car at wilmot because you never did that well. so QUIT thinking you got away with stuff last year. i dont care and neither does anyone else.

as far as you not racing at wilmot. cool story bro....

come on stever leave one thing to help out someone on here today. give a lil help dont come on here and tech, atleast stop techin' me. i use this forum as a place to see new things and get new ideas as well as give ideas. if you want u can come see how all these ideas i gave do work. just because it isnt explained how to do it. it makes it hard to visualize. either way i have no beef with you cuz im a vagatarian. so w/e im on a couple new ventures with cars and most of the time it wont be roundy round, so im trying to give some things that where tough for me to figure out.

- brake bias
-camber
- suspension
-steering quickener
-making the car turn!!! hardest part and with a nissan you know this.

they dont make kits for dirt track 4 cylinders like they do mustangs and street stocks. sorry im trying to help your guys. you watch how many cars broke last year? 1 every night atleast? that cant keep happening or the class is gone steve. todd, sinclair, roe. everyone knows this car count sucked last year. if people can keep cars on the track that will help. only suspension i had broke was my control arm in the enduro i hit a huge rut in the corner. my ball joints would rip and be broken on sunday when i had the car in the garage but wouldnt break off. they should of though.

is it not hard to make a 4 cylinder into a dirt race car? only one car made that is off the show rooom race ready

the escort GT.  an i am a witness at multiple tracks and driven them.
asphalt and dirt are almost opposites look at mark johler for example look at the suspension on his asphalt car vs. his dirt car. 2 totally diffrent cars. yes i know he isnt that fast. but he finishes races in the entirety.

there are more than one car that wouldnt destroy itself. you just have to choose something that has more of a basic and bigger suspension design. anything with a macpherson strut is going to be stronger because its built bigger and more simple. hondas have multiple links and small ball joints, of course the huge holes and ruts will break them. either way the wilmot needs to be fixed. even street stocks were breaking parts.

so u r saying mustangs, and camaros are the way to go? ha maybe with a 302 or 350. a 2.3 from north carolina will only make 180 hp i found 1 guy said he can do a 400 hp deuce but i emailed him over and over again no response and the phonr was disconnected. according to the rules a honda is best suit for swaps a hatch with a 1.8 and ur set. either way for a smart guy you still say mis leading shit. no1 in there right mind woulld build  a mustang in the northern midwest unles they have 10k to throw at it or its a short tracker, ex. lasalle on saturday the fastest cars where fwd 180 hp cars. they kill the mustangs through th turn

there are many other cars you can swap. you just have to think about it. yes mustangs are slow..

most cars you need after market mounts steve my eco tech swap has custom made mounts to fit in the car.
and mustangs lmfao those 2 at lasalle where big dollar motors those short tracker motors they had run all of 8k bucks. you can source one that needs a rebuild for 2 or 3k but fuck that.
