LeMons Car - James Bondo Team

Since the Duratec powered Lotus 15 is still off having crash damage repaired, we decided to build a LeMons car
to fill the void (www.24hoursoflemons.com).
It is a TR-007, and will be fitted with a wide range of Bond gadgets. If the stock motor sucks, it might even get a 2L Heart Transplant. Now we just gotta figure out where to mount the "Goldfinger".
Definitely some form of Masochist....
Should do Chump with that thing. Less than 2 weeks away!!!
Hi All:
After 3 blown engines, and having the TR slant 4 in and out 5 times, we have decided to take the plunge and put a Duratec in our LeMons car.
We requested (and received) what I believe to be the first ever Negative Residual Value Determination in LeMons history. That means we would need to spend $$ on this P.O.S. in order to be able to give it away... That gives us a little more budget to make it live again.
Yes, the motor mounts are overkill, but we had the material on hand, as is the mantra of LeMons.
With the Duratec installed (2.0L, with 2.3L Intake, Trans & Oil Pan), we completed 2 seven hour endurance races at Road America. What a riot!
My buddy Travis uploaded a ton of pix yesterday, I thought that was u guys!!!
Nice work!!!
How much did they ding ya for the Duratec???
How did she perform?

The Duratec pulled like a freight train! The Duratec was less of an issue than our cheap O'Reilly's air filter and adjustable front struts. They dinged us 7 laps. I'd love to know how many laps some of the front runnners were docked....
We set out to have fun, and did so in a big way.
