New member here "supervee" (Welcome aboard, David!!!), is in the process of creating his own streamliner type land speed record car!!! I'm posting the pics he sent for him to save him a lil trouble! Hope u don't mind David!
Sounds KILLER!!!
A little he had to say:
This will run in “F” Gas streamliner.
2.4 liter Duratec ( 100mm stroker crank )
Cosworth dry sump and barrel throttle.
I have done everything myself including the tubing bending and TIG.
I will probably buy the Supertec pistons. ( .5mm overbore )
Calculating compression ratio now. Would like to have a 14/1.
how did you get the 100 mm crank into this duratec block?? I have a 2,3l duratec which I bored to 89 mm and I want to use the 2,5l I4 100 mm crank. is it this what you did?
Hanns Per
The 100mm stroke crank is a forged piece from Specialist Components , Norfork UK.
No issues with interference in the block.
Dave
