2010 season at Wilmot
The 2010 schedule is posted on the website. The fearless four division only has one sat. race and the rest is monday, friday, and mostly sunday. For real... who the fuck wants to race in the middle of a work week? And also....teast and tune starts in late April and goes till openong nite.

WTF, thats retarded. Mostly sunday? Why would they think that would be a good idea?
This will not make myself or my boss happy. However, on the bright side, we're approaching race season, which does make me happy.
At first I had a rant boiling over here... But upon some closer inspection, this may not be so bad.
Facts:
F4 Scheduled race days:
Mon x 1
Fri x 3
Sat x 2
Sun x 4
3 x TBA Dates where no classes have been provided
2 x Sat
1 x Sun
And the Fall Festival of Speed is a whole 3 day weekend, so im sure we will be mixed in there somewhere.
My first objection was the Monday - I mean come on. Work all day on the most aggravating day of the week and then race? And have to come in on Tuesday? BUT. Thats May 31st - Memorial day! So your off that day. Yes, you'll still come in to work on Tuesday pissed off and tired(unless of course you won, that hard-on usually takes a few days for me to beat down. Speaking from my experience in other forms of motorsport BTW - closest we ever came to winning in F4 last year was leading part of 1 lap). Fact is though - I'll bet that Mem day should bring out a big crowd, and hopefully some new folks who might not have tried the traditional fri/sat races.
Sunday racing offers the same challenges of Monday morning pissyness. But, with the classes being split up on the weekend, this should make racing move alot faster, so chances are we might not be there til 2 am... Unless of course we want to. I vote that they move up the Sunday start time too then - lets start racing at noon or 3 or something. Sunday as a whole has always been a more day time activity day. True, it will be less friendly to post victory celebrating...
Sunday is always kinda considered "race day" so it fits... But I wonder if the NASCAR schedule will keep fans at home watching the tube???
One nagative about splitting up the classes on different days is that we dont get to see the other divisions shows... I'll miss that. Not always being able to see a certain female mini sprint driver's posterior most weekends will also hurt...
And how many fans will come out 2 night in a row??? Will the stands be empty??? Lots of questions here.
I DIG the greater amount of test and tune promised, and HOW ABOUT SOME MID WEEK test and tune during the regular season? Not just pre season?? That would be awesome.
I respect and appreciate the track trying new things. Stagnation is bad for everyone. Hope it all works out!!!
I hope it all works out out too. More test and tune through-out the season would be nice, but still we all have a fucked up schedule this year.....mid week racing? come on!!!!!!
There are 2 mondays, we only race one, but the other one is in September 6th, which is labor day. So both days are holidays. No biggie.
