That is fucking ridiculous.  I'm proud to live in this country, warts and all.  We may have corruption, bias, corporate special interest ownership of our full-of-shit leaders, endless bureacracy, etc, etc, etc, but it's FAR less than than what is faced by folks in most other countries.

I'll agree with what both you and Spencer, the military as a vocation isn't for everyone - I'd go so far as to say it's NOT FOR ME.  I've pressured and tried to steer friends away from joining.  However, just as your freedom of speech is important, their freedom of choice is protected here as well.  And the bottom line is, they've choose to RISK THEIR LIVES for you.  And it's no bullshit - both Darrin and Brian have served tours of duty over seas where they were in extreme bodily danger - extreme discomfort - extreme adversity!!!

AND YOU OWE THEM A DEBT OF GRATITUDE. 

In my book, you can tell both of them they are idiots, fags, morons, whatever you want.  And you might be right.  But to trash talk them because they served our military?!?!?!?  That's downright imbecilic.
