doubt it unless its got serious engine work...i dont drive a 1.8L its a spec-v with a shit ton of work put into it...not really a straight line car either but still fairs well

As the S-Tune Altima has the bigger engine, let's start off by talking about the stuff found in this car. Engine modifications for this car are mild, with only a cold-air intake and exhaust bolted on to improve the engine's breathing ability. While the engine of this V6 Altima was barely touched, the suspension got a whole lotta love...

New shocks and springs were mounted at all four corners, which lowers the the car by 22 millimeters in the front and 10 in the rear. In addition to giving the Altima a more aggressive stance, this new suspension is 30 percent stiffer up front and 20 percent stiffer in the back. (Man... that sounds dirty...)

New steel front and rear sway bars have also been bolted on. The front sway bar is a pretty good size at 24 mm, but the rear gets a nice and beefy 27 mm bar. 18x8.5 inch lightweight wheels wrapped in sticky Michelin Pilot Sport rubber helps this new suspension work to its maximum capabilities.

As you recall, we got to drive this S-Tune Altima around the Streets of Willow. It was a pretty decent car, but the wide and flat seats did a terrible job of keeping us in place. To be honest, this is the first time we realized just how important a good seat is for racing. Also, this car was equipped with a "Sport-Shift" automatic transmission, which really wasn't sporty at all. The car could take the corners with no problem, but the tranny (and seats) are really holding this car back from track superstardom. That said, we think this car would be really fun to drive on the street.

Definitely very cool.  But only a few HP improving bolt ons.  Expect mid 14's on a good day.  Fast for a large sedan though!

trust me kiddo i know more about 2.5L and 3.5L nissan engines and chassis's then u can imagine...the 3.5L is a swap for my car only putting down 210-215whp...the motor comes from a maxima or altima the only difference between the transmissions is that on the altima and maxima and the sentra is the use a different final drive and a different bell housing...the gear set is the exact same....so ur condesending to the wrong guy here...1/2 my car is built with nismo parts so thats about $3000 to $3500 in just nismo parts u do the math....wow i bet u sound like a fucking idiot now huh
