*Massive Competition Series Front Stress Bar - 08+ Focus*
After much anticipation we have released our NEW '08+ Focus front strut tower braces.
This is a great way to add some rigidity to the front end of your Focus. Adds some MAJOR under hood excitement as well.
Here is what we have to say about them:
The Focus has always had a reputation as a fun to drive, decent handling car right from Ford. However, under hard core driving situations, more chassis rigidity is necessary. Tying the top of the vehicle's strut towers together, decreases deflection under load, improves steering response and results in superior weight transfer in corners.
Massive Competition Series front strut tower braces are meant for more than just beauty - they feature big 12 gauge mandrel bent steel tubing and heavy duty mounting flanges for the ultimate in strength (others are using dinky 14 gauge tube!!!). This far more solid construction has earned it the "competition" name.
Simple install in less than 15 minutes with basic hand tools. Quality made in the USA. Comes with premium thickness powder coating for long lasting service in your choice of Black, Red, Metallic Silver and Purple Limited. Brushed aluminum vinyl Massive logo so people will know you use the best.
From $99-109.

Yeah, Karl, I saw trailbikerider's summer '09 "how-to" on FF, where it's in their archive. It did look fairly straightforward. I've loaded up a kit of tools and am taking the bar with me to a NWFF G2G at gonefhsn's on New Year's day; a couple of the guys who'll be there have done the install, so I should have good help and some muscle to get it in. Will post a couple pics.
Yeah, I apologize for not including something, just really need to get some time.
I'm sure you'll figure it out though, It's pretty straight forward.
